Bald Eagles
Saturday, May 4th, 2024
Bald Eagles, juvenile watching mature in flight at Oceanside, OR. 18H x 24W inches soft pastels on paper. Framed size 27H x 33W inches.
Thumbnails show stages 1 through 4. Soft pastels don’t allow for too many changes, so the work had to be sprayed and set well before carefully making the juvenile eagle smaller to create a more convincible perspective. That also forced me to rework the sky and clouds, so now hoping those lines help with perspective.
