Autumn Bouquet, 18H x 24W inches soft pastels on paper. Not sure how successful the effort is. Sometimes I can’t tell. It does remind me of 1970’s couch fabric! Detail images below show the different phases of work.

January Thaw 02, Dogwood along Fallowfield Road near Richmond ON – 18H x 24W inches soft pastels on paper. Framed size 27H x 33W inches, white wood frame, crackle finish.
In eastern Ontario, usually about mid-January, snow melts with mild weather for 2 weeks or so. It’s a pleasant break, but winter hits with a vengeance after that and temps don’t warm up again until about mid-March.

Gold in the Mountains 03, Kananaskis Valley, Alberta – 18H x 24W inches soft pastels on 90 lb watercolor paper. On sunny September days in the Rockies, it’s impossible to take a bad photo. The seasonal colors of Aspens are glorious; golden yellows made more intense by the backdrop of violet mountains.
